Troubleshooting (and enabling debugging) the SCCM 2012 Console

By default SCCM 2012 Console logs are stored in the following directory:

<Installation Directory>\AdminUI\AdminUILog

In a file named: SMSAdminUI.log

The SCCM Console only logs errors by default, although if you wish to get debugging information within the log file you can set the logging level by editing Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config under:

<Installation Directory>\AdminConsole\bin\Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config

And changing switchValue="Error" to: switchValue="Verbose" - save and restart the Console for changes to take effect.
