If you get a message stating that your recycle bin has been corrupted within a Windows VM in vSphere and if you are using shared drives - ensure that you disable recycle bin on the drives for each VM sharing the shared disks!
Right-hand click recycle bin >> Properties >> Select Shared Drive >> Select "Don't move files to the Recycle bin..."
