Enabling and testing DRAC with VNC using DracTools

For this tutorial we will need the DRAC Tools package that can be downloaded below:

When installed we shall open a elevated command prompt and cd to the following directory:

cd C:\Program Files\Dell\SysMgt\rac5

and firstly query our DRAC controller:

racadm -r <ip-address-of-drac-card> -u <username> -p <password> getsysinfo

You can access the console view by going to the web interface e.g.:

https://<drac-card-ip-address>

and going to System >> Console / Media >> Launch Virtual Console.
