Routing internal mail from another mailsystem via Exchange 2013

Add an accepted domain: mydomain.com and we select "Internal Relay" - as the sending mail server (e.g. running postfix) is within our network boundary - although is not part of our Exchange organization.

Create a new recieve connector:

Role: Frontend Transport
Type: Custom

Specify the interface bindings, port numbers and so on.

We then specify the remote servers which will be able to access the recieve connector.

Once finished we will then go to the recieve connector properties >> Authenication >> Tick the following:

- Externally secured

and under Permission Groups:

- Exchange Servers
- Anonymous Users
